Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel is preparing to add a brand new boutique animal hotel to its growing collection of feline retreats across the UK. The new location will join the wider Longcroft network of luxury cat hotels, all run by trained franchise owners who operate to the brand’s strict five star standards. The Upwell site is the newest addition in the pipeline.
Upwell itself is a peaceful village set on the Norfolk and Cambridgeshire border, known for quiet waterways, rural views and a slower pace of life. In short, the perfect setting for a cat that prefers to holiday far from the chaos of humans.
The planned site will include eight individual suites designed with comfort and calm in mind. Longcroft has described fully heated bedrooms, themed garden play areas, antimicrobial surfaces, and construction materials made to keep guests warm in winter and cool in summer. Their suites in other locations already reflect this style of care, with wrought iron beds topped with soft pillows, A La Cat meals served on bone china, and gentle music flowing through the day while guests watch birds from their private gardens. The Upwell hotel will follow that same blueprint.
Longcroft promises round the clock presence on site, which is especially important for kittens and senior cats, who benefit from constant supervision. Their approach focuses on creating an immaculate, homely and soothing space that helps cats settle quickly and stay relaxed throughout their visit.
If the plans are approved, the Upwell cat hotel will bring Longcroft’s distinctive luxury boarding experience to a new region. The build aims to blend neatly into the surrounding rural landscape with natural planting and subtle design choices. It is still at the proposal stage, but if history is anything to go by, this will become another sought after cat hotel for owners who want nothing short of five star service for their pets.
